The Evolution of Trodat Rubber Stamps

If you know anything about rubber stamps, chances are you’ve heard the name “Trodat” before. Over the past century, this stamp company has become world-renowned for producing high-quality rubber stamps using innovative methods that minimize environmental impact. It all started in 1912 when a man named Franz Just opened a stamp manufacturing business in Vienna, Austria.
After many years of trial and error, a plastic date stamp was created in 1947 with the word “Trodat” on its label. This primitive version of the modern Trodat rubber stamp was exported to Switzerland and Germany.
In 1951, the stamp maker’s headquarters was moved to Wels, Austria. This new location allowed for increased production and exportation, making it possible for the small company to grow.
Finally, in 1960, Trodat became a registered product brand. A bit later in the decade, the company was officially established under the same name.

In 1996, Trodat introduced the first version of its Professional model, revolutionizing the design and features of office rubber stamps.

In 2008, yet another ingenious product was released by Trodat – the Mobile Printy. This portable pocket stamp, which can be operated seamlessly with one hand, became an instant best-seller with one million units sold worldwide in the first year.
The Printy got an eco-friendly makeover in 2011 when Trodat came out with the Original Printy 4.0, a stamp that is climate-neutral as standard. Releasing such a stamp proved Trodat’s commitment to preserving the environment.

How To Design Your Own Clothing Stamp

Summer’s going fast. What’s next on the agenda?

Maybe you’re getting ready to send your kids off to camp. Whether it’s a retreat in the woods, a community pool, or a gymnasium, your kids are going to have to pack some clothes and accessories. Uniforms, team shirts, bathing suits, hats, towels…the list goes on! Since you can’t always trust your kids to keep their things in order, you may want to take some preemptive action.
